Let's face it, LoLibuddies, above level 20, Soraka is not a mere support. She's a f*kin' carry. So here is a fanart of her literally carrying her team.

It was a Christmas present for my LoL friends playing as their ranked team champions.

There is a lot going on, so I'll explain the pic a bit below:

Veigar has used his AoE stun, and Tryndamere is ragin' down from Top Lane to see if he can has pentakill. Behind the leaning tower of fed champs is the enemy team. Xerath is pretty beat up, but he's doing his best to carry, even using a Q to help Sona jump start Blitzcrank, who has crashed after taking a frost shot to the knee, oh, and having 2 of his arms ripped off, poor bastard. Ezreal has largely escaped damage, but has been silenced by Soraka for his efforts, and Lolibear was too busy eating Soraka's banana-like autoattacks to tank for his poor, pathetic noob team.

I love Soraka, she's my main :D In my best game with her I had 42 assists, she's just awesome <3 But the new champ Lulu is nice too, and you can use the same build ^^

And btw Tryn owns xD

Soraka has one of the most spammable techniques in the game with her Q, and that makes her especially good at filling archangels. I can honestly say that carry Soraka is not only possible but easily accomplished in a good game. My current best is 12-(I think)3-11.
